LaGuardia Terminal B
One of the busiest airport terminals in NYC underwent a historic $8 Billion rebuild while the old terminal remained in near full operation. Given the complexity of the project, the airport’s many stakeholders needed a trusted source for information during construction and the project and the terminal needed a visual identity to stand apart from other entities involved on-site.
In addition to helping the consortium win their project bid, we created a new visual identity and design system for LaGuardia Central Terminal B. To help the terminal operator communicate with clarity and authority we leveraged iconic NYC and Queens borough locations and objects illustrations to localize the new identity while reinforcing the need for clear communication with bold typography and clutter-free compositions.
